Rediscover Intimacy, Pleasure and Connection with an AASECT Certified Sex Therapist

Seeking therapy for topics as intimate as sex, relationships, intimacy and trauma takes courage. Most people reach out when they’ve been carrying stress, shame, or disconnection for far too long. My goal is to help you feel something different right from the start: validated, understood, and more hopeful than you’ve felt in a long time.

In our work together you don’t have to hide the parts of yourself you’ve tiptoed around or tried to push away. This is a space where all of you is welcome.

I support individuals, couples and those in multi partnered relationships who are navigating the tender, complex parts of being human: intimacy concerns, relationship challenges, sexual difficulties, trauma, attachment wounds, anxiety and the emotional patterns that feel impossible to shift without support.

So many of my clients arrive feeling disconnected from themselves, from pleasure, from their partner/s, or from a sense of safety in their bodies. My work is to help you regain that connection, piece by piece, with compassion and clarity.

The People I Work With

How I Work and How Therapy Will Feel

My approach is warm, trauma informed, and deeply relational. I integrate Systemic Sex Therapy, EMDR, ACT, and attachment-focused therapy to help you understand what’s getting in the way of intimacy, pleasure, and connection with yourself and with others.

But beyond modalities, what matters most is how therapy feels.

Clients often tell me they experience a sense of trust and connection with me that they haven’t been able to find with other clinicians. They feel safe enough to talk about things they’ve never spoken out loud and supported enough to explore the parts of themselves that feel tender, vulnerable, confusing or shame filled.

In our sessions my role is to offer a space where you feel held, heard, validated, and grounded while also guiding you toward the growth and change you’re seeking. Together we work to soften old patterns, ease the weight of difficult emotions and build the emotional clarity and intimacy you’ve been longing for.

Working with me often feels:

Warm and grounding • Safe enough to explore vulnerability • Deeply validating and nonjudgmental • Calm and steady • Hopeful, even when things feel heavy

Why I Do This Work

I believe that every person deserves relationships and experiences that are intimate, pleasurable, joyful and deeply connecting. But shame, trauma, negative emotions and past experiences can make it feel impossible to be vulnerable enough to reach those moments.

My work is to help you change the patterns that keep you from closeness so you can experience the kind of connection that feels expansive, safe and alive. I do this work because I’ve seen again and again that healing is possible even when hope feels distant.

A Bit About My Background

I’m a Licensed Mental Health Counselor/Licensed Professional Counselor and AASECT Certified Sex Therapist specializing in sex therapy, trauma treatment (including EMDR), couples and multi partner therapy, and LGBTQIA+ affirming care. I’ve completed advanced training in sex therapy and sexual health, trauma, and attachment focused modalities and I stay deeply committed to ongoing learning so I can offer the most supportive and effective care.

Outside the therapy room I’m grounded by meditation and yoga practices, time in nature and all types of movement that help me stay present, centered, and connected. I bring that same groundedness and presence into my work with clients so they too can experience feelings of comfort and ease in the therapy space
